News / Communique  Hey Guys! - September 14th, 2008 Hello ladies and gentleman! After a long summer with not alot of attention paid to The Creamery, we're back! As you can see, I have stripped down the website a bit, so everything can fit on to one page -- I hope you like it, I think it's pretty slick myself. There is not much to report on the music making front, regarding any of The Creamery artists, but we do have few events coming up for you all to check out. First: Dustin Hawthorne (Of Hot Hot Heat) has joined The Creamery and is going to be one of the resident DJs along with Devastatin' Dave at our new Thursday night joint at 3 Minots (3812 St Laurent) It's going to be a Thursday filled with hot jams and cheap booze, so come down and show the love! We want to make this the next great thing in Montreal. D.Hawthorne and C.R.I.M.E.S. will be DJing together at Korova on Sunday, September 21st at Korova (3908 St Laurent.) This night may turn into a Creamery monthly event, so keep your fingers crossed. Long Time No See! - May 19th, 2008 Hello ladies and gentleman, It's been a while since I have updated the site, for reasons un-related to The Creamery, I have been very busy. As some of you may or may not know, High Fidelity Part 1 was postponed due to a scheduling conflict with the club in which we are holding the night at -- Fear not, We have re-scheduled the debut night for August 1st (Date may be subject to minor change) -- That's a long way off, I know, but we are just making sure everything goes right -- As far as performers go, Hatchmatik will be back on board for the make-up show. In other news, the album "Eric" by C.R.I.M.E.S. will be released to the to the public for FREE via this fine website on August 15th, 2008! I'm sure we'll have some sort of release party in conjunction w/ High Fidelity, but we haven't looked that far ahead yet. As I always do, I will promise (Once again) That I will update this website way more often! Bienvenue En Arrière - March 10th, 2008 Hello ladies and gentleman, and welcome to the Montreal edition of The Creamery website. As you may or may not know, I (DCL) have moved back to Montreal and since The Creamery is my pet project, the new home base of the label is here, in Montreal. That being said, we have stripped down the site into two main parts, one part being our net releases, which you can find under the Releases tab (Duh!) and our High Fidelity page – High Fidelity is our new monthly club party series that we’re hosting at Le Bar B.Q. on St Catherine – for more information on that, go ahead and click on the High Fidelity tab above. We here at The Creamery are pleased to announce the newest member of our family, Anton. He’s one part killer producer and one part killer photographer and we’re going to take advantage of both of his fantastic skills here at The Creamery. Check out his MySpace page or his official website at www.antontrax.com. Sometime in late summer or early fall of 2008, The Creamery will be taking its music off the net and putting it into CD format for the first time, in the form of a Cream-Comp (Creamery Compilation.) Though we are intending on keeping ourselves as a net-label, we really want to be able to put some sort of hard copy product in your hands, and that is our solution -- more details on that soon. As you can see this is a long and singular news post, I took the rest of the old news down because I found that it either didn’t make any sense anymore under our new structure or it was just irrelevant.
